Biography

Prof. Panagiota Florou-Paneri, veterinarian, nutritionist, graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, where she completed her Ph.D. in 1988. She begun her academic career as Lecturer in the Laboratory of Nutrition, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Later, she was elected Assistant Professor, then Associate Professor and finally in 2007 Professor.She has more than 186 publications (books, research articles, reviews, congress presentations) with more than 2000 citations. Also, she is a reviewer and member of editorial boards in peer-reviewed journals, evaluator of scientific proposals, and invited speaker and scientific-committee member of national and international scientific congresses.
