Session 2: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

TMS is unique method where magnetic field is used to stimulate nerve cells via electromagnetic induction. It’s mainly used to treat the person having depression. The magnetic field generator is used to place near the person’s head so that brain can easily receive the signals and become effective. This method can able to modulate neuronal function and its expression. Based on the stimulation parameters the brain can be either enhanced or decreased. The respective session of the Brain Conference will give you an idea about TMS and how it works and the importance of Brain Stimulation in neurodegenerative disorders.

Session 3: Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)

In previous days surgeries were involved destruction of brain cells that leads to arise of several problems in the patient, but now those surgeries are replaced by DBS, is a neurosurgical procedure involving an implantation of a device so called neurostimulator that supplies electrical impulses to the brain cells leading to decreasing the symptoms.  These neurostimulator often called Brain pacemaker. DBS can help to reduce the symptom which is also used in Parkinson’s disease.  The respective session of the Brain Conference will give you an idea about DBS and how it works and the importance of Brain Stimulation in mental disorders.

Session 4: Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS)

tDCS is a non-invasive, harmless brain stimulation process that uses direct current impulse to stimulate specific part of the brain and often producing improved cognitive performance. The current impulses which is transferred to the brain through two electrodes is basically constant and low intensity current that leads to modulate the neuronal activity. The respective session of the Brain Conference will help you out to understand brain function and the effectiveness of tDCS in psychiatric symptoms and cognitive impairments and let you know how to handle mental disorder by giving the treatment of Brain Stimulation.

Session 7: Neurodegeneration & Aging Disorders

Neurodegeneration is the process of losing neurons within the brain and spinal cord. Neuron is build blocks for the nervous system including brain and spinal cord. Neurons cannot be regenerated or replace by body normally. Ageing affects many cellular processes that progress to the neurodegeneration and also age-related changes in cellular function will progress to the pathogenesis of PD. well known Neurodegenerative disease are Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease (PD), Huntington's disease (HD) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The respective session of the Brain Conference will help you out to investigate psychiatric symptoms and cognitive impairments and let you know how to deal with aging disorders by giving the treatment of Brain Stimulation.

Session 11: The Neurobiology of Climate Change

Directional climate change (global warming) is causing rapid alterations in animals’ environments. Because the nervous system is at the forefront of animals’ interactions with the environment, the neurobiological implications of climate change are central to understanding how individuals, and ultimately populations, will respond to global warming. Evidence is accumulating for individual level, mechanistic effects of climate change on nervous system development and performance. Climate change can also alter sensory stimuli, changing the effectiveness of sensory and cognitive systems for achieving biological fitness. At the population level, natural selection forces stemming from directional climate change may drive rapid evolutionary change in nervous system structure and function.

Introduction:

Brain Disorder or any broad term of brain disease is so called Encephalopathy that can lead to destruction of nerve cells and as a result declining ability and concentrate, memory loss, personality change, seizures and twitching arises. So brain problem is now a days a major problem in worldwide scenario.

Practice of Brain stimulation in Europe and UK:

According to a file 166 million Europeans are residing with mind issues which include epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disorder, depression and sclerosis. 6.85 million People die every 12 months due to neurological problems at united nation cost spend neurological issues is $790 billion In UK spends yearly around £112.7 billion for Disorders of the brain along with dementia, stroke, and intellectual fitness problems. It was also showed in a report that Neurological disorders is in no 1 category that people are facing worldwide. So usage of brain stimulation is gradually increasing about 69% in 2018
