Biography

Rosana B. Silveira is the principal researcher of the Hippocampus Institute, which develops the Hippocampus project (biology, cultivation and conservation of seahorses). She has experience in biology for conservation of species, acting mainly on the following topics: Syngnathidae, threatened and over-exploited species, conservation and management, development, breeding in captivity, environmental education and public policies.
