Dr. Manoj Nargund is a medical doctor & post-graduate (MD) in Pharmacology from University of Mumbai, India. He also holds a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Business Management. He has earlier served as Resident Medical Officer in Internal Medicine & ICU at prestigious public hospitals at Mumbai for 3 years, & has been on teaching faculty for Pharmacology for medical & pharmacy graduates, & has 5 publications in peer-reviewed journals. As an Asia Pacific Medical Affairs & Clinical R&D professional in pharmaceutical industry for last 21 years, some of his key achievements include - Introduction & development of Gastroenterology/Hepatology products in conditions like Peptic Ulcer Disease, GERD, Functional Dyspepsia, IBS, IBD, Hepatitis B, Alcoholic Liver Disease, NAFLD, and Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiency (PEI). He is passionate about learning & implementing preventive & therapeutic strategies for unmet patient needs in conditions like Non- Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) & Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
