Meetings International & Digestive Disease 2020 offers several awards given to recognize outstanding scholarly contributions to the field of international studies. These awards have different committees, nominating procedures and submission deadlines. They recognize Best Key Note Speaker Award, Outstanding Speaker Award, Best Organising Committee Member Award, Outstanding Masters/Ph.D./Post. Doc Thesis work presentation Award & Best Poster Award.

Best Key Note Speaker AwardDigestive Disease 2020 will honours the Keynote Speakers who have made significant contributions to the field of information systems but also makes a difference by his presence during the conference. Recipients of the award are considered to have advanced the field through research or service.

Outstanding Speaker AwardDigestive Disease 2020 perceives the individuals who have made significant and imaginative walks in education system. This honour perceives advancement in instructing methodologies and strategies just as in conveying oral presentation in conference. This honour explicitly centers around the uniqueness and creativity that expands members interests

Best Organizing Committee Member AwardDigestive Disease 2020 will honour the individual who has demonstrated exemplary support and guidance throughout the conference.

Outstanding Masters/Ph.D./Post. Doc Thesis Work Presentation Award: This award recognizes individuals in the early stages of their careers who have already made outstanding research, teaching, and/or service contributions to the field of information systems.

Best Poster Award: This award recognizes individuals from poster presenters who have display their outstanding research and findings for an innovative future. Recipients of the award are considered to be the Best Poster Presenter of the conference.

Criteria:

  • All presented abstracts will automatically be considered for the Award.
  • All the presentation will be evaluated in the conference venue
  • All the awards will be selected by the judges of the award category
  • The winners will be formally announced during the closing ceremony.
  • The winners of the Poster Award will receive award certificate.
  • The awards will be assessed as far as plan and format, intelligence, argumentation and  approach, familiarity with past work, engaging quality, message and primary concerns, parity of content visuals, and by and large impression.

Guidelines:

  • All submissions must be in English.
  • The topic must fit into scientific sessions of the conference
  • Each individual participant is allowed to submit maximum 2 papers
  • Abstract must be submitted online as per the given abstract template
  • Abstracts must be written in Times New Roman and font size will be 12
  • Abstract must contain title, name, affiliation, country, speakers biography, recent photograph, image and reference
  • Each poster should be approximately 1x1 M long. The title, contents and the author’s information should be clearly visible from a distance of 1-2 feet.

Session 1: Advancements in Digestive Disease Treatment

This activity can offer learners with a comprehensive summary of the state-of-the art advances within the diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive modalities of organic process diseases supported the newest proof, literature, and clinical analysis.

Session 2: Gastroenterology & Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a challenging period for the gastroenterologist. Although multiple gastrointestinal complaints may occur during pregnancy (gastroesophageal reflux, constipation, etc.) most of these are mild to moderate, usually managed by the obstetrician, and therefore the gastroenterologist is seldom asked to intervene.

Session 3: Hepatic Disorders

Diseases caused by viruses, such as hepatitis A, hepatitisB, hepatitisC Diseases caused by drugs, poisons or too much alcohol.Eg.include fatty liver disease and cirrhosis.Liver cancer.Inherited diseases, such as hemochromatosis and Wilson disease.

Session 4: Paediatric Gastroenterology

If your child has a digestive system, liver, or nutritional problem, a pediatric Gastroenterology has the expertise to treat your child. Digestive, liver, and nutritional problems in children often are quite different from those seen in adults.

Session 5: Neuro-Gastroenterology 

NeuroGastroenterology is a sub specialty of gastroenterology that overlaps with neurology. The enteric nervous system is a collection of neuron's that can function independently of the central nervous system (CNS). This article discusses the neurological manifestations of Gastroenterology disorders as well as significant Gastroenterology manifestations of neurological disorders

Session 6: Clinical Research in Gastroenterology

The goals of the division of Gastroenterology research programs are to advance knowledge in the areas of gastroenterology and hepatology through innovative basic science, translational, and clinical research and to foster the spirit of scientific inquiry among faculty, fellows, residents, and students. Gastroenterology Division researchers are actively involved in numerous projects in the study of the biology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver diseases

  • Colon cancer screening.
  • Inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis
  • Hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer, and other liver disease
  • Role of adiposity in esophageal and colorectal cancers
  • Progression of chronic liver disease and serum bile acids
  • HIV and mucosal immunology

Session 7: Gastroenteritis

When you have Diarrhea and Vomiting, you may say you have the "stomach flu." These symptoms often are due to a condition called gastroenteritis

Session 8: Digestive Disorders

Intestinal problems, such as polyps and cancer, infections, celiac disease, Crohn disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, malabsorption, short bowel syndrome, and intestinal ischemia. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and hiatal hernia

Session 9: Endoscopic Retrograde cholangiopancreatography

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is a procedure that combines upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy and x-rays to treat problems of the bile and pancreatic ducts.

Session 10: Endoscopic ultrasound and liver biopsy

Liver biopsy remains the cornerstone in the diagnosis and management of liver disorders. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is gaining traction as an alternative method of biopsy. For parenchymal disease, it can decrease sampling variability. It offers a more targeted approach for focal lesions. Its diagnostic yield and limited adverse event profile make it a promising approach for liver biopsy.
