Dongling Ma has significant expertise in the development of various functional nanomaterials, including i) two-dimensional nanomaterials like graphene and C3N4, ii) one-dimensional nanomaterials like TiO2 nanorods and Cu nanowires, iii) zero-dimensional nanoparticles like quantum dots and Au nanospheres and iv) hybrid nanomaterials for optoelectronics (e.g., solar cells), catalysis and biomedical applications. Regarding her recent work, since 2012 she has published ~100 times on nanomaterials research in high-quality journals (J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., Energy Environ. Sci., Chem. Mater., etc.). She serves as an Editor or Editorial Board member of ACS Energy Lett., Sci. Rep., Frontier of Materials (Energy) and Rev. Nanosci. Nanotech
