About City

Tokyo being Japan's bustling capital, fuses the ultramodern and the conventional, from neon-lit high hikes to indelible sanctuaries. The lavishing Meiji Shinto Shrine is known for its transcending door and encircling woods. The Imperial Palace sits in the midst of colossal open greenery enclosures. The city's plentiful galleries offer displays expanded from authorised workmanship (in the Tokyo National Museum) to a emulated kabuki theatre (in the Edo-Tokyo Museum).

The Institute of Medical Science founded in 1892 as ''The Institute of Infectious Disease'', located in the University of Tokyo. The Institute has its own affiliated research hospital is Japan’s research institute for medical science. The University of Tokyo Hospital provides an accurate and high-quality pathological diagnosis. Regular case review conferences are held jointly with the clinical division to make high-quality diagnoses. Their Division of Histopathology plays a leading role in Japan in promoting rapid pathological diagnosis, such as “same day diagnosis” for biopsy specimens.
