Plant Science 2023

Theme: Explore the New origin and Trends in Plant Science

The 3rd International Conference on Plant Science will be scheduled in Paris,France during November 13-14, 2023 and includes prompt keynote presentations, Oral talks, Workshops/Symposia, Poster presentations, and Exhibitions. The theme of the conference is “Explore the New origin and Trends in Plant Science”.
Plant Science 2023 is the premier event that brings together a unique and international mix of experts, researchers, and decision-makers from academia and industry across the globe to exchange their knowledge, expertise, and research innovations to build a world-class plant genomics conference. The event focuses on aspects such as breeding, molecular marker development, crop improvement, disease resistance, epigenetics, evolution studies, and plant science  as well as understanding tools to overcome barriers and enable successful data analysis and management.

Session 01: Molecular Plant Breeding
The recent integration of advances in biotechnology, genomic research, and molecular marker applications with conventional plant breeding practices has created the foundation for molecular plant breeding, an interdisciplinary science that is revolutionizing 21st century crop improvement. Plant Genomics Conference is providing the global platform to unleash your innovations in molecular plant breeding and collaborate with research and industrial developments.

Session 02: Stress Signaling in Plants
Plants undergo continuous exposure to various biotic and abiotic stresses in their natural environment. To survive under such conditions, plants exhibit stress tolerance or stress avoidance through acclimation and adaptation mechanisms that ultimately re-establish cellular and organismal homeostasis or reduce episodic shock effects. These abilities involve intricate and complex mechanisms of perception, transduction, and transmission of stress stimuli, allowing optimal response to environmental conditions

Session 03: Plant Proteomics and Plant Science
Proteomics is the large-scale functional analysis of proteins extracted from intact organisms, tissues, individual cells, or cell compartments, at defined timepoints during development or under specific conditions. Plant Proteomics highlights the rapid progress in this field in plants, with emphasis on recent work in model plant species, subcellular organelles, and specific aspects of the plant life cycle such as signaling, reproduction and stress physiology.

Session 04: Plant Morphology and Plant Metabolism
Plant morphology deals with both the vegetative structures of plants, as well as the reproductive structures. It includes plant development, floral morphology pollination and fertilization. Plant morphology provides an overview of the science of studying the external form of plants. Plant metabolism includes the complex of physical and chemical events of photosynthesis, respiration, and the synthesis of organic compounds.

Session 5: Crop Improvement and Plant Virology
Crop improvement refers to the genetic alteration of plants to satisfy human needs. In prehistory, human forebears in various parts of the world brought into cultivation a few hundred species from the hundreds of thousands available. Through a long history of trial and error, a relatively few plant species have become the mainstay of agriculture and thus the world's food supply. Plant viruses are wide spread and economically important plant pathogens. Plant viruses consist of a nucleoprotein in that multiplies only in the living cells of a host.

Session 06: Plant Biotechnology
Plant biotechnology uses the genetic engineering of agricultural crops as a means of producing foods rich in antioxidant nutrients, whilst plant cells and tissue culture techniques are used for the in vitro increment of antioxidant compounds in plant cells. There are numerous inspiring and promising reports about the possibilities of plant biotechnology that should provoke and encourage more research focused on antioxidant production from plants. Session 07: Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Sciences
Medicinal plants have been used in virtually all cultures as a source of medicine. Assurance of the safety, quality, and efficacy of medicinal plants and herbal products has now become a key issue in industrialized and in developing countries. Medicinal Plants have been used for thousands of years to flavor and conserve food, to treat health disorders and to prevent diseases including epidemics. The knowledge of their healing properties has been transmitted over the centuries within and among human communities.

Session 08: Plant Genome Science
Plant Genomics is the field of plant science focused on understanding the sequence, structure and regulation of the genome. With the advent of low cost high-throughput sequencing, investigations of the genome have become much more sophisticated in recent years. It is now possible to compare multiple genomes within a species (pan-genomes) as well as across species (comparative genomics). One of the major challenges facing the field today is developing tools to mine these massive datasets and to visualize the results of comparative studies.

Session 9: Plants and Climate Change- Overcoming Measures
Current and predicted pattern of global climate change are a major concern in many areas of socio- economic activities, such as agriculture, forestry, etc., and is a major threat for biodiversity and ecosystem function. An increase in the ambient CO2 concentration could reduce the opening of stomata required to allow a given amount of CO2 to enter in the plant that might reduce transpiration of the trees. Climatic variability affects crop development and yield via linear and non-linear response to weather variables and exceeding of well-defined crop thresholds, particularly, temperature.

Session 10: Plant Tissue culture
Plant tissue culture is a significant field where plants are grown artificially in a sterile environment. It involves the culture of plant seeds, tissues, organs, cells on a nutrient culture medium in sterile and controlled conditions where light, temperature, humidity are maintained. There are four main stages in this technique, initial stage, multiplication stage, pre-plant stage, and acclimatization.
Plant science Events | Molecular plant breeding conferences | Plant Proteomics congress | Plant Morphology meetings | Plant Metabolism workshops | Crop Improvement symposiums | Plant Virology events | Plant biotechnology Meetings |

Plant Science 2023 will bring together top educational scientists, researchers, and research scholars to discuss all facets of research and exchange experiences and findings. The global plant tissue culture market was valued at USD 390.0 million in 2021 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8.6% during the forecast period. The plant tissue culture market is expected to be driven by numerous genetic engineering techniques. This cell culture method can be a renewable supply of valuable pharmaceutical compounds, colorants, aromas, and flavors that would be difficult to manufacture using chemical synthesis or microbial cells. Furthermore, this approach could provide a consistent and stable source of herbal medications. The number of natural compounds obtained utilizing cell cultures is enormous and steadily increasing.

Unlike microorganism cultivation, the cells are cultivated on a huge scale in a fermenter. These benefits include a continual supply of plants as raw materials as well as the creation of wholly novel chemicals under controlled conditions. he environmental effects of using agrochemicals, the need for environment-friendly & innovative production methods, the advent of agricultural modernization, and the demand for a better value for crops have increased the possibilities of new avenues for the agricultural community. The application of biotechnological methods in plant genomics effectively reduces the time taken to study the plant gene processes. It also helps in discovering more information about the function of the gene of interest. With the declining cost of genetic services in all industries, the use of plant genomic techniques is expected to grow, which is, in turn, projected to drive the global market. The key drivers of this industry include the need for technological advancements; a rise in demand for improved crop varieties; cost-effectiveness of genomics; and rise in plant genome funding, which is fueling the adoption of innovative technologies, ensuring strong market growth for plant genomics.Furthermore, cell culture is recognized as the most advanced technology for crop improvement through the generation of somaclonal and gameto clonal variations. The micropropagation method has enormous potential for producing high-quality plants and isolating beneficial variants in very well high-yielding cultivars with improved resistance to disease and drought resistance. As a result, it will enhance plant tissue culture market growth. However, tissue cultivation is labor-intensive, time-consuming, and can be pricey, which will restrict the industry's growth.
