New York, the 27th biggest U.S. state in land territory, has an assorted topography. The state is flanked by New Jersey and Pennsylvania toward the south and Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont toward the east. The state has a sea fringe with Rhode Island, east of Long Island, and additionally a worldwide outskirt with the Canadian regions of Quebec toward the north and Ontario toward the northwest. The southern part of the state is in the Atlantic Coastal Plain and incorporates Long Island and a few littler related islands, and additionally New York City and the lower Hudson River Valley. Western New York is viewed as a component of the Great Lakes Region and fringes Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, and Niagara Falls. The focal piece of the state is overwhelmed by the Finger Lakes, a well known vacation and tourist destination.
