Robin C Muise-Helmericks is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology, Member of the Hollings Cancer Center and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Departments of Oral Health at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Research Interest

focuses on the molecular regulation of angiogenesis by the Akt family of kinases. We are particularly interested in the role of these kinases during angiogenesis as they pertain to metabolism, development and cutaneous wound healing. Our work can be divided into two major subject areas.
