Biography

Drug development professional and biopharmaceuticals CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing Control) expert with over 20 years of international pharma industry experience in big Pharma and Biotechnology, private/publicly traded companies; including 14 years at Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where she served in various positions as a Head of Pharmaceutical Productions at Copaxone-Sterile department and Scientist in Teva Innovative Pharmaceutical R&D Division. Prior to joining Zion Medical, she also held senior CMC and Project management positions across all indications from early preclinical stages, Phase I to regulatory approval and commercialization, at BioLineRx (BLRX) and Neuroderm. Esmira holds a PhD in Chemistry from University of Latvia, Riga.
