Biography

Michiel Heidenrijk – Executive Director of Ahti and Joep Lange Institute Michiel Heidenrijk is Founder and Executive Director of the Amsterdam Health & Technology Institute as well as Executive Director of Joep Lange Institute in Amsterdam. He also holds board positions at both organizations. He has a background in business economics with a special focus on banking and insurance, working in corporate finance and as a management consultant for nine years before joining the Academic Medical Center (AMC) in 2003. Prior to taking up his current positions, he was the Managing Director of the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (AIGHD).
