Nano Bio materials

The interface of biology and the inorganic materials represents one of the fastest growing and most promising areas of nanotechnology. Since, nano materials can display distinct the biological effects compared with bulk materials of same chemical composition, the physico–chemical characterization of nano materials and the understanding of their interaction with the biological media are essential for optimizing the nano particles properties. The nano–bio interface comprises the dynamic physicochemical interactions, kinetics and the thermodynamic exchanges between the nano material surfaces and the surfaces of biological components. Moreover, nanotechnology–based approaches are being explored for a variety of biomedical applications such as for drug delivery, tissue engineering, bioimaging, and the biosensors.

Advanced Nano Materials

Nanomaterials are characterized as the materials with no less than one outside measurement in the size extent from around 1-100 nanometers. Nanoparticles are items with each of three outside measurements at the nanoscale. Nano particles that are normally happening  or are the accidental side effects of the ignition procedures are generally physically and the synthetically heterogeneous and frequently termed ultrafine particles. Built nanoparticles are deliberately delivered and planned with the particular properties identified with shape, size, science and surface properties. These properties are reflected in the mist concentrates, powders, or colloids. Regularly, conduct of nanomaterials might depend more on the surface region than the molecule arrangement itself. World interest for nanomaterials will rise more than two times to $5.5 billion in 2016. Nanotubes, quantum dabs and nanoclays will be the quickest developing sorts. The vitality stockpiling and era and the development markets will offer the best development prospects.

Nano particles and Nano structure

Nanoparticles are particles between the 1 and 100 nanometers in size. In nanotechnology, a particle is defined as the small object that behaves as a whole unit with respect to its transport and the properties. Particles are further classified according to the diameter. Ultrafine particles are same as nanoparticles and between the 1 and 100 nanometers in size, fine particles are sized between the 100 and 2,500 nanometers, and the coarse particles cover a range between 2,500 and 10,000 nanometers. A nanostructure is a structure of the intermediate size between the microscopic and molecular structures. Nanostructural detail is microstructure at the nanoscale. In describing the nanostructures it is necessary to differentiate between number of dimensions on the nanoscale. Nanotextured surfaces have one dimension on the nanoscale, i.e., only thickness of the surface of an object is between 0.1 and 100 nm.

Nano chemistry

Nanochemistry is a branch of the nanoscience, deals with chemical applications of nanomaterials in the nanotechnology. Nanochemistry involves the study of the synthesis and characterisation of the materials of nanoscale size. Nanochemistry is a relatively new branch of chemistry concerned with the unique properties associated with assemblies of the atoms or molecules of nanoscale, so the size of nanoparticles lies somewhere between the individual atoms or molecules  and the larger assemblies of bulk material which we are more familiar with. There are the physical and chemical techniques in manipulating atoms to form molecules and the nanoscale assemblies. Physical techniques allow atoms to be manipulated and positioned to the specific requirements for a prescribed use. Traditional chemical techniques arrange atoms in the molecules using well characterised chemical reactions.

Nano Biotechnology

Nanotechnology ("nanotech") is manipulation of matter on an atomic, molecular, and supra molecular scale. The earliest, widespread description of nanotechnology referred to the particular technological goal of precisely manipulating atoms and molecules for fabrication of macro scale products, also now referred to as molecular nanotechnology. A more generalized description of nanotechnology was subsequently established by the National Nanotechnology Initiative, which defines nanotechnology as the manipulation of matter with at least one dimension sized from 1 to 100 nanometers. This definition reflects the fact that quantum mechanical effects are important at this quantum-realm scale, and so the definition shifted from a particular technological goal to a research category inclusive of all types of research and technologies that deal with the special properties of matter which occur below the given size threshold.
