Session 1: Recent Advances in Dental Therapy and Treatment
Technological advances in medical techniques are positively changing the way dental procedures are performed. Always at the forefront of advancement, dentists strive to meet the health needs of the patients using the least invasive methods and lowest associated recovery times.

Session 2: Nano Dentistry and Dental Materials
Nanotechnology is emerging as an interdisciplinary field that is undergoing rapid development and has brought about enormous changes in medicine and dentistry. Nanomaterial-based design is able to mimic some of the mechanical and structural properties of native tissue and can promote biointegration.

Session 3: 3D Imaging in Dentistry and CBCT Technique
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) devices, changed the way oral and maxillofacial radiology is practiced. CBCT was embraced into the dental settings very rapidly due to its compact size, low cost, low ionizing radiation exposure when compared to medical computed tomography.

Session 4: Dentistry in Stem Cell Regeneration and Repair
Teeth exhibit limited repair in response to damage, and dental pulp stem cells probably provide a source of cells to replace those damaged and to facilitate repair. Stem cells in other parts of the tooth, such as the periodontal ligament and growing roots, play more dynamic roles in tooth function and development.

Session 5: Preventive & Community Dentistry
Public Health Dentistry is one of the 9 specialties of dentistry. It is the science and art of preventing oral and dental diseases and promoting the oral and dental health as well as general health of people in the community. It serves the community as a patient rather than as an individual.

Session 6: Sedation Dentistry and General Anaesthesia
General Anaesthesia uses a combination of inhaled gasses and intravenous medications to make patients completely unconscious. While under anaesthesia, patients are unable to respond or feel any pain during a medical procedure. These days, full anaesthesia is not used often for dental procedures. Sedation involves administering a sedative through a vein, enabling the medication to take affect very quickly.

Session 7: Endo-Periodontal Diseases and their Management
Endodontic-periodontal diseases often present great challenges to the clinician in their diagnosis, management, and prognosis. Understanding the disease process through cause-and-effect relationships between the pulp and supporting periodontal tissues with the aid of rational classifications leads to successful treatment outcomes.

Session 8: Orthodontics and Orthognathic Surgeries
Orthodontic treatment goals can be divided into five categories: facial esthetics, dental esthetics, functional occlusion, periodontal health, and stability.Nevertheless, when a severe skeletal deformity exists in non-growing teen and adult patients with significant skeletal jaw discrepancy, the goals of treatment are often impossible to achieve by orthodontics alone.

Session 9: Dental Hygiene and Oral Cancers
With recent news about health issues being related to oral hygiene, we’ve grown concerned that we’ve increased our own health risks by not taking care of our teeth. Well, according to research, yes, we may be putting our health at risk. In fact, some studies have suggested that bad oral hygiene habits can lead to major diseases, including oral cancer. Oral cancer is when some cells in the mouth become abnormal, and begin to grow and spread.

Session 10: Endodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry
Endodontists are skilled specialists in finding the cause of oral and facial pain that has been difficult to diagnosis. Some common dental symptoms they are specially trained in diagnosing and treating include: Tooth Pain, Abscessed Teeth, Cracked Teeth, Dislodged Teeth, and Knocked-Out Teeth Whereas Cosmetic dentistry is constantly evolving. There are many different techniques and procedures to improve your smile.

Session 11: Pediatric Dentistry
Pediatric dentistry is defined as the practice, teaching, and research of preventive oral care in children from birth through adolescence. Pediatric dentists encompass all aspects of oral health care for developing children. They also offer specialized dental treatment for sick and disabled children.

Session 12: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is the specialty of dentistry which includes the diagnosis, surgical and adjunctive treatment of diseases, injuries and defects involving both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region.
