Theme: New Horizons in the field of Oral and Dental Care

Meetings International honored to welcome to its "Webinar on Dental Care" held on May 24, 2023 with the theme “New Horizons in the field of Oral and Dental Care ". Dental services include diagnosis, prevention methods, and treatment for dental issues including diseases & oral infections. The dental services are provided by expert dental professionals, endo-dentists, general dentists, oral and maxillofacial radiologists, oral pathologists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, pedo-dentists, etc. based on their areas of expertise.
The aim of the Webinar is to provide opportunity for the global participants to share their ideas and experience in person. This gathering will help the delegates to establish research or business relations as well as to find international network for future collaborations in their career path.

Session 1: Advanced Dental Research 
Dentistry, also known as dental medicine and oral medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity, commonly in the dentition but also the oral mucosa, and of adjacent and related structures and tissues, particularly in the maxillofacial (jaw and facial) area. Although primarily associated with teeth among the general public, the field of dentistry or dental medicine is not limited to teeth but includes other aspects of the craniofacial complex including the temporomandibular joint and other supporting, muscular, lymphatic, nervous, vascular, and anatomical structures.

Session 2: Periodontology and Implant Dentistry
Periodontics or Periodontology is the division of dentistry that deals with the management of the tissues surrounding and supporting the teeth, especially the gums. Gum cure is essential to prevent tooth loss. Common Periodontal processes include scaling and root development, periodontal surgery, dental implants, and cosmetic techniques such as crown lengthening, soft tissue grafts, and ridge augmentation.

Session 3: Dental caries 
Dental caries or cavities, more commonly known as tooth decay, are caused by a breakdown of the tooth enamel. This breakdown is the result of bacteria on teeth that breakdown foods and produce acid that destroys tooth enamel and results in tooth decay.

Gerontology is that the study of the dentition and dental issues in older patients that involves the identification and treatment of dental injuries, diseases or defects. Periodontology deals with the study of supporting structures of teeth and connected diseases. The periodontium includes the animal tissue, alveolar bone, and solid body substance and periodontics ligament. The invention of the microorganism that plays a crucial role within the periodontics diseases and also the pathological process of disease may be an advanced and complex topic.

The branch of medicine which includes the study, treatment, prevention, and diagnosis of a disorder related to the oral cavity. The study of dental medicine is not limited to only teeth but also the mandibles and other supporting structure.
