Webinar on Energy-2021

Theme: Green Energy Strategies for Sustainable Development

We welcome all the Enthusiastic researchers from all around the world to join us for the Webinar on Green and Sustainable Energy which is going to be held on March 27, 2021 at Dubai, UAE. The summit will move forward with the theme “Green Energy Strategies for Sustainable Development”. Webinar on Energy will provide a robust and dynamic platform and also aims to promote Engineers, Energy Trading, Advanced data and conventional energy. It enables stable pricing by proactively managing demand from consumers. This Energy event invites the global community of Energy infrastructure development, Power generation, Storage, Natural Energy resources, Solar Power.

Understanding energy resources involves considering all types of energy source from various scientific and technological standpoints, with the focus and the uses of limitations and consequences of using energy that is available to humanity. This course sets the scene by considering how much energy human society uses and the basic concepts of energy, work, power and efficiency. There are many sources of energy we have, which we use to make our life comfortable. We cannot use all sources to get energy effectively. There are some parameters which decide that which source of energy is good.

Natural Energy Resources: Sources of energy contain energy in them if forms that cannot be used directly but living organisms require energy to stay alive. Therefore, you must unlock this energy to get work done. The natural resources around us provide a variety of sources of energy around us. During the stone age, it was wood. During the iron age, we had coal. In the modern age, we have fossil fuels like petroleum and natural gas. So how do we choose sources of energy

Renewable Energy: Using renewable energy helps preserve the environment as it produces minimal to zero harmful emissions. The basic principle of using renewables is to extract it from a constant source in the environment, like the sun, the wind, or through geothermal sources. The next important factor is to convert the source into productive electricity or fuels. The range of technologies that cater to the different aspects of generating power or heat from renewables forms one of the biggest energy industry trends. This includes reducing costs for the manufacturing of renewables infrastructure and generating power with higher rates of efficiency.

Thermal Power Plant: It converts the heat energy of primary fuels such as coal, to the electric power. In most of the thermal power stations, combustion of primary fuels heats the water and transforms it to steam. The steam drives steam turbines, which eventually generates electricity. Subsequently, the steam is condensed and recycled back into the system. The thermal power stations may use several different types of heat sources, including fossil fuels, nuclear energy, biomass and waste. The steam activates a turbine which, in turn, drives an alternator to produce electricity. Not all power plants require thermal power in order to generate electricity.

Solar Power Technology: Every location on Earth receives some sunlight over a year, the amount of solar radiation that reaches any one spot on the Earth’s surface varies. There are three primary technologies by which solar energy is harnessed: Photovoltaics (PV)-which directly convert light to electricity; Concentrating Solar Power (CSP)-which uses heat from the sun (thermal energy) to drive utility-scale, electric turbines; and Solar Heating and Cooling (SHC) systems-which collect thermal energy to provide hot water and air heating or conditioning.

Non Renewable Energy: Non-renewable energy is a source of energy that will eventually run out. Most sources of non-renewable energy are fossil fuels, such as coal, gas, and oil. These natural resources are a major source of power for a vast amount of industries – however, there are numerous downsides to non-renewable energy, including their negative environmental impact and the fact they are in limited supply. These sources can also be used for all kinds of things. Over 70% of the energy used in industrial processes comes from non-renewable sources, while fossil fuels are also used for many household purposes.

Emerging Technologies-Wave and Tidal Power: The energy captured is then used for all different kinds of useful work, including electricity generation, water desalination, and pumping of water. Wave energy is also a type of renewable energy and is the largest estimated global resource form of ocean energy. It is a source of power that comes from the endless march of the waves as they roll into the shore then back out again. Humans harness this power along the coastal regions.

Tidal power is one of the major renewable energy sources, but also one of the most infantile. Using the power of the tides, energy is produced from the gravitational pull from both the moon and the sun, which pulls water upwards, while the Earth’s rotational and gravitational power pulls water down, thus creating high and low tides

Market Analysis:

In this time of global market uncertainty one thing we do know is that the world needs energy and in increasing quantities to support economic and social progress and build a better quality of life, in particular in developing countries. But providing this energy around the globe comes with a responsibility and commitment to developing and using our resources responsibly. We are committed to protecting both people and the environment and making positive economic contributions.

By looking closely at the energy sector today, we observe various signs that suggest rapid transformation for future developments in the industry. Governments around the world pass legislation in order to incorporate sustainable energy sources and technologies to enable the efficient use of energy systems.

Scope and Importance:

A Career in Energy Management comes with immense scope and possibilities. Professionals in energy management have a lucrative career and a prosperous future waiting for them. With infinite potentials and scope both in terms of employment opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures, there is no looking back for the energy management personnel once they are in this sector. As a result of the immense potential in this field, private equity funds and venture capital are investing huge amount of money even in case of new ventures in this field.

Based on type, the market is classified into hydroelectric power, wind power, bioenergy, solar energy, and geothermal energy. The hydroelectric power segment is expected to dominate the market during the forecast period. Furthermore, the solar energy segment is expected to grow at the highest growth rate during the forecast period.

Based on end use, the renewable energy market is classified into residential, commercial, industrial, and others. The industrial segment is expected to account for the highest market share.

Based on region, the renewable energy market is analyzed across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and LAMEA. Asia-Pacific emerged as a global leader in 2017 and is anticipated to continue its dominance during the forecast period. In terms of end use, the industrial and residential segments are expected to dominate the Asia-Pacific market owing to rapid industrialization. China is anticipated to account for the highest market share in the Asia-Pacific renewable energy market and is projected to dominate the market during the analysis period. China aims on reducing its dependency on fossil fuels by adopting renewable energy for generation of electricity.
