The obstetrician ensures that mother and child get the best prenatal care to ensure labor and delivery is accomplished without complications and that should intervention be needed, it is done quickly and safely.

4. Reproduction and Sexual Health: Sexual health is a state of physical, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence.

5. Infertility: Infertility can be described as a woman who is unable to conceive as well as being unable to carry a pregnancy to full term. Infertility is the inability of a person, plant or an animal to reproduce by natural means.
