This webinar/virtual meeting is to make international online events as safe as possible from the public health risks of the Covid-19 with technical support. Our webinar highlights the theme, " Strategic Development In The Treatment Of Kidney Diseases".
Session 01- Kidney Cysts
A cyst is a fluid-filled sac. You may get simple kidney cysts as you age; they are usually harmless. There are also some diseases which cause kidney cysts. Acquired cystic kidney disease (ACKD) happens in people who have chronic kidney disease, especially if they are on dialysis. Unlike PKD, the kidneys are normal sized, and cysts do not form in other parts of the body. ACKD often has no symptoms. Usually, the cysts are harmless and do not need treatment. If they do cause complications, treatments include medicines, draining the cysts, or surgery.
Session 02- Urine and Urination
There are actually many different conditions that could cause frequent urination. Many of these causes are based on your age, gender or possibly even both. You could experience frequent urination a few times throughout your life for different reasons. These conditions can range from minor—and easily manageable—to more serious issues. However, it can be a sign of kidney or ureter problems, urinary bladder problems, or another medical condition, such as diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus, pregnancy, or prostate gland problems.
Session 03- Anemia in Chronic Kidney Disease
Anemia is a common complication of chronic kidney disease (CKD). CKD means your kidneys are damaged and can’t filter blood the way they should. This damage can cause wastes and fluid to build up in your body. CKD can also cause other health problems. The two main treatments for anemia in kidney disease are erythropoietin (EPO) and iron.
If tests suggest that your kidneys are not making enough EPO, you may need a man-made form of this hormone.
To build the iron levels in your body, you may need to take iron pills or get iron through an injection into a vein (IV).Anemia is less common in early kidney disease, and it often gets worse as kidney disease progresses and more kidney function is lost.
Session 04- Kidney Transplantation and Therapy
When your kidneys lose this filtering ability, harmful levels of fluid and waste accumulate in your body, which can raise your blood pressure and result in kidney failure (end-stage kidney disease). End-stage renal disease occurs when the kidneys have lost about 90% of their ability to function normally. Other conditions, such as congenital defects of the kidneys, may result in the need for a kidney transplant. There may be other reasons for your healthcare provider to recommend a kidney transplant.
Session 05- Renal supportive care
Kidney Supportive Care is intended for patients of any age who have chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage kidney disease (ESRD), or acute kidney injury (AKI). It can be provided together with or without life-prolonging therapies including dialysis and kidney transplantation. Renal supportive care involves an interdisciplinary approach, integrating renal medicine and palliative care services, and encompassing advance care planning and end-of-life care.
Session 06- Clinical Trials and Case Reports
A case report gives the point by point report of indications, signs, conclusion, treatment, and follow-up of an individual patient. Case reports may contain a statistic profile of the patient and assume significant part in the field of restorative clinical research and prove based pharmaceutical. Besides, case reports functions an early cautioning signal for the antagonistic impacts of latest solutions, or the presentations of new and rising ailments.
