Pharmacology Webinar

Theme: Emerging trends in Pharmacology

Webinar on Pharmacology 2021 welcomes each one of you to attend a global conference in the field of Pharmacy which is held on August 28, 2021. The Webinar emphasizes the theme“Emerging trends in pharmacology”. Pharmacology Webinar provides an international dais for Scientists and Pharmaceutical professionals to Exchange Ideas, Knowledge and Networking. Knowledge of the concepts of drug metabolism is useful in both the design of new drugs and the improvement of existing drugs. Thus it affects the living life in an effective way. This is the platform where you can exchange your ideas and learn novel concepts related to your field from the international speakers as well as the professionals participating in this symposium. We want to take every individual related to this field either to learn or share your experience in this field and improve your connections from the entire globe.

Pharmacology
Pharmacology is the branch of pharmaceutical sciences which is concerned with the study of drug or medication action, where a drug can be broadly defined as any man-made, natural, or endogenous (from within the body) molecule which exerts a biochemical or physiological effect on the cell, tissue, organ, or organism (sometimes the word Pharmacon is used as a term to encompass these endogenous and exogenous bioactive species). More specifically, it is the study of the interactions that occur between a living organism and chemicals that affect normal or abnormal biochemical function. If substances have medicinal properties, they are considered pharmaceuticals.

Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics
Pharmacokinetics may be defined as the study of the dynamic movements of foreign chemicals (xenobiotics) during their passage through the body and as such encompass the kinetics of absorption, distribution, biotransformation/metabolism and excretion (ADME). It can simply be described as how the body handles xenobiotics.
Pharmacodynamics is the study of how a drug affects an organism, whereas pharmacokinetics is the study of how the organism affects the drug. Both together influence dosing, benefit, and adverse effects. Pharmacodynamics is sometimes abbreviated as PD and pharmacokinetics as PK, especially in combined reference (for example, when speaking of PK/PD models).

Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics
Pharmacogenetics is the study of how people respond differently to drug therapy based upon their genetic makeup or genes. Diet, overall health, and environment also have significant influence on medication response, but none are stronger indicators of how you will process medication than your genetics.
Pharmacogenomics analyses how the genetic makeup of an individual affects his/her response to drugs. It deals with the influence of acquired and inherited genetic variation on drug response in patients by correlating gene expression or single-nucleotide polymorphisms with pharmacokinetics (drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination) and pharmacodynamics (effects mediated through a drug's biological targets).

Immunopharmacology
The use of multiple antitumor drugs that have different mechanisms of action. In addition, combinatorial treatment regimens often combine drugs that target different phases of the cell cycle. Optimal treatment protocols combine drugs that have non-overlapping toxicities. In this way, overall toxicity can be minimized, despite the use of a synergistic cohort of cytotoxic drugs.

Toxicology
Toxicology is the study of the undesirable effects of chemicals on living organisms. It is the study of symptoms, mechanisms, treatments and detection of poisoning; especially the poisoning of people. The global market for selected healthcare-acquired infection (HAI) treatments was valued at nearly $15.2 billion in 2014. This market is expected to increase from nearly $17.1 billion in 2015 to $23 billion by 2020, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.1% from 2015 to 2020.

Drug screening and Discovery
Drug screening is the process by which potential drugs are identified and optimized before selection of a candidate drug to progress to clinical trials. It can involve screening large libraries of chemicals for a particular biological activity in high-throughput screening assays.
Drug discovery is the process by which new candidate medications are discovered. Historically, drugs were discovered by identifying the active ingredient from traditional remedies or by serendipitous discovery, as with penicillin.

Advances in Pharmacological Research
Liposomes and nanoparticles: Nano scale drug delivery systems using liposomes and nanoparticles are rising technologies for the rational delivery of chemotherapeutic drugs in the treatment various ailments. Nanoparticles present possible dangers, both medically and environmentally. The pharmaceutical industry is directly impacted by the research conducted with prescription drugs, vaccines, and OTC drugs being manufactured based on findings from the study of life sciences. Clinical trials are conducted to ensure that products being developed are tested on how well they work on individuals affected by the diseases or conditions they are created to treat.

Pharmacological Testing
Development of medication is a vital concern to medicine. The metabolic stability and the reactivity of a library of candidate drug compounds have to be assessed for drug metabolism and toxicological studies. Many methods of pharmacological tests have been proposed for quantitative predictions in drug metabolism. The pharmaceutical market been increasingly more affected through laws and regulations but has shown continuous growth as the diagnosis and understanding of diseases and condition has evolved and improved. BCC Research report’s cover the latest pharmaceutical market and provide in-depth market analysis, forecasts, trends, patent analysis, and profiles of major players within the markets. Comprehensive analysis of clinical studies for biopharmaceuticals, prevention and treatment of certain cancers, coagulants and non-coagulants are all within the range of pharmaceutical markets covered in BCC Research reports. Drug devices, instrumentation and inhibitors are some of the many other areas covered.
