Biography

Dr. Faroongsarng received a Ph.D. in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University in 1993. Afterwards, he took a career of a professorship in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Hat Yai, Thailand. Now he is a professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences. During his career, he has been teaching and conducting researches in the areas of Physical pharmacy and Pharmaceutics emphasizing on material characterizations, and Pharmacokinetics and Biopharmaceutics of oral dosage forms. He has been a reviewer for several research projects, including especially in area of bioavailability and bioequivalence studies granted by University, Thai FDA, and other national institutions. He is also a member of University’s IRB. In addition to authoring articles in reputed journals listed below, Dr. Faroongsarng has been serving as an academic peer reviewer for a number of journals including, AAPSPharmSciTech, Pharmaceutical Biology, Journal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Journal of the World Aquaculture Society, and Aquaculture Research.


Research Interest

He has been a reviewer for several research projects, including especially in area of bioavailability and bioequivalence studies granted by University, Thai FDA, and other national institutions. He has also been research in the field of Pharmaceutics, Physical chemistry in Pharmaceuticals and excipients, Pharmacokinetics, Biopharmaceutics
