Food Safety 2021

Theme: Food safety and sanitation for a healthier nation

We welcome all the enthusiastic researchers from all around the world to join us for the “Webinar on Food Safety” held on June 25, 2021. The webinar will move forward with the theme “Food safety and sanitation for a healthier nation”. This webinar is a global platform for professors, deans, academic researchers, researchers, industrialists, nutritionists dieticians, doctors, young scientists, students, delegates, and health professionals to participate at food safety webinar. The food safety priorities set by this webinar will facilitate global collaboration and help ensure that no one is left behind. It will provide an opportunity for participants to explore the challenges and opportunities arising from rapid technological change.

Session 1: Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)

HACCP is a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished productHACCP as an effective and rational means of assuring food safety from harvest to consumption. Preventing problems from occurring is the paramount goal underlying any HACCP system.

Session 2: Food Safety in Covid-19 Outbreak

Food safety is utilized as a theme describing handle, preparation, and storage or preservation of food in ways that within which stop food-borne diseases. The incidence of two or tons of cases of an equivalent sickness succeeding from the organic process of a same food is assumed as food-borne malady prevalence.

Session 3: Food Safety and its Nutritional Impact

Nutrients are the nourishing substances in food that are essential for the growth, development and maintenance of body functions. Essential meaning that if a nutrient is not present, aspects of function and therefore human health decline. When nutrient intake does not regularly meet the nutrient needs dictated by the cell activity, the metabolic processes slow down or even stop.

Session 4: Food Safety and Food Inspection

Food Inspection and monitoring programmes are at the heart of the enforcement system. In the old conception of food control, inspection activities focused on sampling and testing of end products to determine their compliance with regulations. It is now considered more efficient to focus inspection activities on ensuring compliance of systems for food safety management that can minimise the occurrence of food safety problems.

Session 5: Environmental and Climate Impacts on Food Safety

Food safety is threatened by numerous contaminants, which can originate from environmental pollution, such as toxic metals and organic halogenated compounds; chemicals used in the production of food, such as pesticides and veterinary drugs; contaminants formed during food production and cooking; contaminants arising from food packaging, or natural toxins in food. Consumers’ perceptions of food-related risks have recently been investigated in the 2010 Eurobarometer.
